Chris Carter Rocks!

Saturday, January 8th, 2005

Last night’s PAAC event was pretty darn cool! We had Chris Carter - a mentalist - perform on the OC. Brynn’s event had the best turnout by far this year. He was a nice guy and could do his craft very well! He had me convinced and I’m still trying to think of how he does all that stuff.

Looks like it will be another busy weekend for me. Kyle and I are heading out to CR later to make a walmart run. I need some wire for soldering the LED kits I should be getting in from Australia later this week.

I put up my scarecrow from ART-104B up in front of McWethy this morning. I have to go to the reception for the show in an hour, and that sucks. Hopefully I’ll be able to sneak out earlier.

It was a pretty darn good day.

Busy, but good. There was class, which is ART-104-B now, in the morning. That is ending up taking a lot more time than I had hoped, which is okay, but not. The prof is a little wacko, but all Art profs are right? We’re making cardbaord scarecrows for an installation on the history of corn.

There was the PAAC meeting, which went quickly, but was packed with special moments. Afterwards I had to go to the lecture put on buy the artists doing the installation in McWethy. They have some… interesting pieces of work that they showed us. I spent the entire time thinking about ways to get out of it. I figured out a sure-fire way to do it: wait until the end.

I am going to bed now.
